• Note: Gates recommends replacing hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed
• Caution: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications.

Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation – the leading cause of hose failure. Meets SAE 20R3 type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications. Temperature rating: -40 degree F to 275 degree F (-40 degree C to 135 degree C) in coolant hose applications.Gates’ Small I.D. Molded Coolant Hose is specifically designed to fit modern, compact engine compartments. This OEM style hose is suitable for use with coolant, water, and air. It meets marine application requirements and conforms to OEM specifications, boasting all the same quality features as other Gates Molded Coolant Hoses. This hose is engineered to resist the leading cause of hose failure – electrochemical degradation. It also meets SAE 20R3 type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications, and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C) in coolant hose applications.
